What is an Encounter Weekend?
Encounter weekends are times when people can come away from the everyday activities of life and take time to experience the Presence of the Lord in worship, prayer, teaching, and personal ministry.  The Bible records many stories of individuals whose lives were changed as a result of an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is the goal of every Encounter Weekend to bring each person into a similar life-changing encounter with God.

Who Can Benefit from an Encounter Weekend?
Have you struggled to overcome something in your life?  Do you desire to be free from a past experience that affects you today?  Or do you just hunger for a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ?  If any or all these describe you – then you can benefit from an Encounter Weekend.  Jesus said that He came to “heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives”, and to “set at liberty them that are bruised” LK 4:18 KJV).  He is still doing so today!  The Bible states, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
