One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Judges 15:1-16:31
John 2:1-25
Psalm 103:1-22
Proverbs 14:17-19

Verse of the day:

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12)

I am so thankful for promises like this one! We all have mistakes and sins in our past that we would like to forget. The enemy however likes to hang those sins over our heads and tell us that those mistakes are what define us as a person. But that is not what God’s Word says! God tells us that when we confess our sins that He is faithful to not only forgive us of our sins but to remove them as far as the east is from the west.

What is the enemy trying to hold over your head?  He wants to hold you back from being the person God wants you to be and to keep you in the bondage of the past. If you have asked God to forgive you for your sins He has forgiven you!  He doesn’t hold it over your head anymore!  The next time the enemy tries to remind you of your past remind him that God’s Word says, “as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
