God Knew, And Still Knows // Wednesday, September 17

Posted: Wednesday, September 17

One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Isaiah 25:1-28:13
Galatians 3:10-22
Psalm 61:1-8
Proverbs 23:17-18

Verse of the day:

O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things. You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. (Isaiah 25:1)

What an encouragement in times of trials or tribulation. As we struggle to see even a ray of hope, God already had our victory planned long ago. The situation you’re going through right now is not a surprise to God. Before you ever had a problem, God had planned the solution…long ago.

Take heart in the fact that God is above everything — even time. He is not confined by it. Long ago, He had planned to bless you this way or help you that way. Makes you wonder if God keeps a calendar up in heaven for each one our lives; everything planned out exactly as it will happen each day. Or maybe He just keeps it all in His mind; who knows. But one thing I know with certainty, no day, in fact, not even a single second goes by that wasn’t planned by God long ago.

So live in what He has for you today, and don’t worry over what will happen tomorrow—He has it all in His capable hands.
