One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Exodus 34:1-35:9
Matthew 27:15-31
Psalm 33:12-22
Proverbs 9:1-6

Verse of the day:

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. (Psalm 33:11-12)

One of most common questions that people ask is, "How can I know God's plan for me?" I love it when people are desiring to discover God's specific plans for them—it shows a heart that is seeking after God, and wanting to know His best and highest for their life. However, sometimes we forget that God's primary plan and purpose for our life is to KNOW HIM, ENJOY HIM, and simply FOLLOW HIM. In pursuing Him—not the plan, He will clearly reveal where to step—then the plan will unfold. This takes the pressure off of feeling like we have to figure "it" all out, and reassures us that if we are walking closely with Him, we are not going to miss "it". I have read, "Seek after Him with all that you are, and you will have a head-on collision with your calling!" Just like Joseph, we may experience a few unexpected turns and what seems to be delays, but if we continue to seek after Him with all that we are, we will collide with our divine destiny.

I have been thinking about some of the divine collisions that God has used to position me for my calling. Relationships that have helped me define the plans and direction God has for me. And then to realize that this verse has me in mind when God says, “… the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations." That verse helps me/us realize that we never know what divine collisions He may have waiting for us. He may use key relationships along with their experiences to help position us for His PURPOSE, or to catapult us into our next season of life—so we must remain open to what God brings our way, knowing that He will guide us—His plan is for the best and highest for our lives.

Today, position yourself within God’s presence in such a way that you cannot miss His divine purpose and calling for your life.
