One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Habakkuk 1:1-3:19
Revelation 9:1-21
Psalm 137:1-9
Proverbs 30:10

Verse of the day:

“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:2b-3)

Have you ever felt that what God was doing made absolutely no sense? Have you ever wondered why there is so much violence? Why do evil people prosper? Why do good people suffer? Why doesn’t God do something? Why doesn’t God clean up this mess?

If you have, you are not alone. The prophet Habakkuk struggled with the same questions. Habakkuk couldn’t understand why God would not clean up the mess Judah was in. God told Habakkuk that He is in control and that He will make everything right in due time. God told him to write down the promise because it was going to be fulfilled.

Today some of you are in Habakkuk’s shoes. You find yourself full of doubts, questions, and problems. Thus, God is reminding you today that He is faithful and that He is in control.

You may not understand what you are going through but God has a plan to bless you. Can you trust that God is in control and that He is going to make everything right in due time? Then, write the vision!

Write a Facebook post, send a text or a tweet today that says “God is in control and He will make everything right in due time.”

“For if the Lord has said it, you can count on it. He will do just what He said.” (Patrick Love)
