Verse of the day:

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9)

This devo goes out to all of the people trying to do the right thing. Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you’re feeling ignored. Maybe you feel like taking the high road isn’t getting you where you thought it would. Possibly, you watch others scheme and manipulate to get ahead while you stick to the rules. You’re realizing that that’s not getting you anywhere, maybe even farther from where you’re wanting to excel. This devo is for the tired good people.

If you’ve said, “Yes! You’re describing how I feel!” God wants to speak directly to you today. Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. It may seem like the inconvenient or silly way to do things at the moment, but Paul writes that at the right time we will be blessed for doing the right thing. When we do things God’s way, the best is yet to come. It may not be right away, it may mean we have to trudge through, but at the right time God will bless you for your faithfulness to Him.

You’ve served, you’ve put others first, you’ve obeyed and you feel drained. Don’t give up, keep doing the right thing. God knows when the time for breakthrough will be suited best for you. Keep on keeping on and your blessing will come. For the tired good people, don’t get tired of doing good.
