One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Leviticus 6:1-7:27
Mark 3:7-30
Psalm 37:1-11
Proverbs 10:3-4

Verse of the day:

Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.  For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him. (Mark 3:9-10)

God wants to move in our lives in ways that are visibly tangible to those around us.  It could be an addict who is now sober, newfound joy in the person once overwhelmed with anxiety or the introvert who now speaks confidently in front of others.

Those who do not have a personal relationship with Christ are often drawn through the Holy Spirit when they see Jesus making positive changes in the lives of others.

Jesus asked His disciples to prepare an escape boat.  Large crowds were pressing in with such determination that there was concern Jesus would be crushed by the multitudes.

“For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him” (Mark 3:10 NIV).

Word spread that Jesus was changing lives.  The difference was so significant that it was evident to others and, in turn, they vigorously sought after Jesus.

Turning from an old way of living and placing our faith in Jesus Christ is an inside change with outside evidence.

May our passion and desire for Christ be contagious.  I pray that others will see the positive, life-changing difference Jesus is making in my life so that they will desire a relationship with Him as well.
