Jeremiah 26:1-27:22
2 Thessalonians 3:1-18
Psalm 85:1-13
Proverbs 25:16

Verse of the day:

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Have you ever felt that you were left without the strength to keep on fighting? Have you ever been scared by the thought of what might happen to both you and your family if you just gave up? If you have, you are in good company; since, the Thessalonians also felt like that.

That’s why in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, the Apostle Paul encourages them by reminding them that Jesus – their Lord and Savior – is faithful. Now, what does faithfulness have to do with anything? You see, the Apostle explained to them that Jesus shows His faithfulness by empowering them and protecting them against any attack of the evil one.

Today, allow me to speak into your life the same message. Jesus is faithful. He will give you the strength you need. He will keep you and your loved ones safe. Right now, He is standing guard over you and yours! Like Isaiah said, “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” (Isaiah 54:17, NLT). In other words, your success is not dependent on your strength or courage but on the faithfulness of God. Aren’t you glad your God is faithful?
