Exodus 4:1-5:21
Matthew 18:1-20
Psalm 22:19-31
Proverbs 5:15-21

Verse of the day:

For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. (Matthew 18:20)

What do you do when people close to you hurt you? I may not know what you would do. However, I know what God did in the exact same circumstances. God chose to love those who did not want to have a relationship with Him. God chose to do everything in His power to restore His relationship with those who hurt Him.

Today, God is asking you to do the same. He wants you to do everything in your power to restore the broken relationships in your life. If you want to do so, you may have to forgive, to humble yourself, to have mercy, or to take the first step even if it’s uncomfortable.

Until you do, you will be missing something. You see, God created you to live in community, because He understands how powerful a community gathered in the name of Jesus is. Nothing compares to what happens when you gather with your church family in the name of Jesus. You will be able to experience a deeper and more personal connection with God. You’ll be encouraged; you’ll be able to grow and learn. Yet, this will not be possible unless you are constantly seeking to restore the broken relationships in your life.

What relationships in your life need to be restored? What would it take to restore them? What would happen if you did?
