One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Daniel 1:1-2:23
1 Peter 3:8-4:6
Psalm 119:65-80
Proverbs 28:14

Verse of the day:

But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. (1 Peter 3:14)

More than ever its as if good is being called bad and bad is good. It’s transcended from 50 shades of grey to more like everything is a filter of grey. The standards God makes explicitly clear for our basic moral is questioned and tattered. It’s never been easier in our young country to do something that violates God’s order and be praised for it while in action.

Is it worth continuing on? Is God some prude old timer with aged philosophized rules? Or is God’s way really the best way to live? No matter what opinion you hold, the truth is that God’s way IS the best way. And that’s that. There’s no budging, no extending the line, no leniency given. If you want to experience the most fulfilling, satisfied life then do things God’s way. It’s that simple.

If you look at the things God tells us to do and how to live, even just the 10 commandments, it’s natural law. Continue to do good. Don’t give in to the rationale that nothing is absolute, that whatever makes you feel good is best, to follow your heart, or any other foolish wisdom. God’s way is best and if you do things His way, the best is yet to come! It may not be easy, it may not be popular, but it is the best.
