Romans 10:14-11:12
Psalm 21:1-13
Proverbs 20:4-6

Verse of the Day:

"But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? (Romans 1:14 NLT)

I am so thankful to be a part of a missions focused church! As a church we believe it is extremely important to give our resources to help missionaries who are in other countries share the good news about Jesus with those who have no heard about Him before.

As I look around more and more I realize that our own country and our own city is a very desperate mission field full of people who have never heard the good news about Jesus. They may have heard the name of Jesus as a curse word, or as a punchline to a joke, but they have not heard that Jesus came into this earth on a mission of love to save them from their sin. They have have not heard that they can have a personal relationship with Him and that He will be there to help them when life gets hard. Like the verse says, "But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?" We have a job to do! We can't assume that our neighbors, co-workers, or family members have fully heard the good news about who Jesus is-we have to tell them! Regardless if we are outgoing or shy we have a job to do! Lives are on the line-who will you share good news with today?
