And his name will be the hope of all the world. (Matthew 12:21)
Have you ever felt like hope is hard to find? Have you ever felt like there is no hope?
So many people have lost all hope. Optimism has been replaced by discouragement and hopelessness. Some have lost hope because their life didn’t turn out the way they hoped it would. Others have had to struggle with chronic illnesses, with conflicts within their families, or with financial woes. Whether we like it or not, we live surrounded by hopelessness.
Yet, this is not how God wants you to live. Allow me to remind you that there is hope. I’m not talking about the kind of hope that is more like a wish. It’s not the “I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.” I’m talking about a real hope that will improve the way you live your everyday life. The only way you’ll find this hope is if you learn to trust that Jesus is powerful and that He has control of your future.
