Verse of the Day

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. (Psalm 62:5)

How would you describe the state of your soul today? As you face the day ahead, is you heart cluttered or ordered, depressed or alert, discouraged or hopeful, whinny or thankful?

A restless soul is fertile ground for the enemy. A tortured mind is a playground for his antics. Trust me, the enemy will attempt to capitalize on moments of confusion, conflict, and chaos in your life. He always does. But a quieted soul is one that rests in the goodness and faithfulness of an all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, loving God. Instead of dreading the worst, trust in the God who does best.

Take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God, give all of your challenging circumstances to Him, and let your soul be quieted and fixed on the sure hope that God will see you through.
