Deuteronomy 28:1-68
Luke 11:14-36
Psalm 77:1-20
Proverbs 12:18

Verse of the day:

Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. (Proverbs 12:18)

Words have power. They can hurt or they can heal. Life-draining words are poison to the soul while life-giving words are save to our wounds.

If you are like me, some words you’ve heard in life were toxic and as time progressed, they may have soaked into the entirety of your being bringing death and decay. These are the kinds of words that we must learn to reject. Trash belongs at the dump, don’t let them rot in your heart.

On the other hand, some words you have heard have brought life. These were wise, truthful words spoken at crucial moments and they have been life-changing. Not only are these the kinds of word we need to hear, they are the kinds of words we need to speak.

As you live your life today, every time you think something positive about someone, tell them. Speak it, text it, tweet it, whatever, just don’t rob someone of a blessing by keeping a positive statement to yourself.
