One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Judges 13:1-14:20
John 1:29-51
Psalm 102:1-28
Proverbs 14:15-16

Verse of the day:

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Come, follow me. (John 1:43)

Everyone longs to be included and accepted. Everyone has a desire to know and be known. Everyone is looking for someone they can follow, look up to, and support. Jesus’ invitation is simple, “Come, follow me.”

Many people wonder what God wants them to do. It is actually very simple. He wants you to follow Jesus and do what you see Jesus do. So two verses later we see Phillip talking to his friend Nathanael and he invites him to “come and see.” Come and meet this man Jesus. See what he will do.

The call of God is simple. Serving God is easy. What would Jesus do should not just be a catchy phrase from days gone by but the model of our lives. In every situation, during everyday, we should come to our Lord and then follow his example in everything we do.
