One Year Bible Reading Guide:

1 Samuel 18:5-19:24
John 8:31-59
Psalm 112:1-10
Proverbs 15:12-14

Verse of the day:

They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. (Psalm 112:9)

Let me ask you a couple of questions…

Would you rather be married to a generous person or a greedy person?

Would you rather hang out with a generous friend or a greedy friend?

Would you rather work for a generous boss or a greedy boss?

Would you rather hire a generous worker or a greedy worker?

I don’t know about you, but I would much rather associate with generous people! Generous people have more peace, they give more trust and they have more fun! Generous people live better lives!

Living generously is a theme that runs throughout the scriptures. Jesus was the most generous person who has ever lived and so if we want to live like Him, we will be generous. We will be generous in our time and resources, recognizing that God has given us more than enough to share. When we are generous we reflect the heart of Jesus to those in need.

How can you live generously today?
