One Year Bible Reading Guide:

1 Kings 2:1-3:2
Acts 5:1-42
Psalm 125:1-5
Proverbs 16:25

Verse of the day:

Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever. (Psalm 125:1-2 )

1) They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides
2) As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the LORD is around his people from
henceforth even forever.

What protection, what security we have in knowing that our God is like a mighty mountain range all around us! How small and weak we are in His hand, yet we are big and strong because of His hand that holds us and protects us. There is no better security in all the universe than there is when we are resting in His hands like babies in a cradle rocked gently in His comfort, mercy and warmth of His love.

So today, let’s give Him praise for what it means to be an heir to God’s kingdom—praise His name forever!
