One Year Bible Reading Guide:

Ecclesiastes 10:1-12:14
2 Corinthians 8:1-15
Psalm 49:1-20
Proverbs 22:20-21

Verse of the day:

Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do. (Ecclesiastes 11:9)

Life is so beautiful! We live in one of the greatest eras of human existence! Technology has made life easier than it has ever been before! We’re able to communicate and virtually see anyone anywhere at any point of the day! The world has never been smaller and easier to travel than it is now. In Milwaukee, we’re surrounded by fun and adventurous things to do every single day! Whether it’s going to a concert in the park, volleyball at Bradford beach, coffee or lunch at Collectivo in Bayview, grilling out in your backyard in 70 degree summer, life is good! And God made life to be fun!

Solomon in today’s scriptures encourages us to enjoy life! We can so often get trapped in the hustle and worry of the world around us. We can lose sight of the beauty and memories to be made because of our grumpy and bitter attitudes. But life was not meant to be lived with a frown. Life is precious and abrupt! God wants us to enjoy the life He gifted us with and use it to worship Him!

It’s so interesting that Solomon encourages us to live life to the fullest, only to be followed by the warning to be aware that what we do with our lives will be accounted for before God. Enjoy life, but always do things to honor God and bring him glory. It’s so easy to make lifelong memories and enjoy the life you have without sinning and being reckless with choices. There is so much grandeur in this world and reason to be positive. Don’t waste your life in opposition to God, always negative and grouchy. Be thankful for the life God has gifted you with and enjoy it! Make the most of it and make Him look good through your life!
