A Meaningful Life
Posted: Sunday, November 8
Verse of the day:
Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign LORD . Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. (Ezekiel 18:23)
God wants you to have a full and meaningful life. He created you in His image and His intention has always been to have a meaningful relationship with you. You were created for this! Yet, your bad decisions lead you to a path that lead to meaninglessness, suffering, and death.
God saw when you made mistakes and suffered the consequences of your decisions. He knew that the end result of your sins was going to be death. He could’ve let you “get what you deserved.” He could’ve sat back and watched as you self-destructed one bad decision at a time. However, in spite of your bad decisions, He only wanted – and still wants – good things for you.
God does not want you to suffer away from Him. On the contrary, He is always waiting for you to come to Him so He can change the direction of your life. If you are only willing to surrender to Him and turn from your sin, He is ready to put you on track to the life He meant for you to live.
