1 CHRONICLES 5:18-6:81
Verse of the Day:
1 O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your rage.
2 Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak.
Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
3 I am sick at heart.
How long, O Lord, until you restore me?
4 Return, O Lord, and rescue me.
Save me because of your unfailing love.
5 For the dead do not remember you.
Who can praise you from the grave?[b]
6 I am worn out from sobbing.
All night I flood my bed with weeping,
drenching it with my tears.
7 My vision is blurred by grief;
my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies.
8 Go away, all you who do evil,
for the Lord has heard my weeping.
9 The Lord has heard my plea;
the Lord will answer my prayer.
10 May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified.
May they suddenly turn back in shame.
In those moments of life when your really at your weakest and desperate moments. You reach out to God for strength and to be rescued. You feel your up against a wall and you don’t know if your cries are being heard. Your prayers are filled with requests to be healed, saved and to be restored. Your looking for grace, mercy and provisions to get you through this valley.
Yesterday Pastor's sermon was “Shaken Free - The Journey Begins.” When it feels like you’re in the midst of a storm, God has a plan for you. When the weather conditions are less than desirable, God knows and He cares about you. The issues Paul faced in Acts, his enemies were against him and he was facing a storm. He was pleading his case and needed to realize that it was in God’s perspective. There is a global mission and sometimes God has a bigger plan for us. We need not allow the storm to guide us, but know God can drive your destiny if you give all of yourself to Him.
Haven't we found when walking not fully in Christ, our life falls apart more. The attacks are more vicious with everything that we do. No matter how we pray and what we request, things of this world start to overcome us. Your success story will come when you allow Christ to guide your ship even when the storm is raging. Take courage in Jesus. Find your faith in Him, because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! -Hebrews 13:8
If Christ doesn’t ever change then why do we?
