Verse of the Day:

Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors mean far more to God than religious performance.

(Proverbs 21:3)

How often have you heard some say they’re religious? They so proudly state that and feel just by being religious you’re in the grace of God. You can say, give or act like it’s more important to show you’re doing your sacrifices to God. Be up in front of church going through the motions, but we need to realize, it’s where our heart is in relationship with God that really matters.

If we would go through this world with the mind set of truly loving everyone the way that Christ did, that would be more than a sacrifice in the Lord’s eyes. Mark 12:33 says, “To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

We need to go beyond all measures to show ourselves as Christ does. Even when that person in the drive through messes up your order. When you go back in, we still show the love of Jesus by saying thank you and have a very blessed day.

When it shows we have that relationship with Christ and people want to know how they can have that same peace, rather than people know that you’re religious.
