Psalm 89:38-52
Proverbs 25:28

Verse of the day:

“You spread out our sins before you— our secret sins—and you see them all.” (Psalm 90:8 NLT)

Growing up did you ever feel like your parents had eyes on the back of their heads? Like you couldn’t get away with anything?  There wasn’t much I was ever able to get away with…especially at church. If I was goofing around during service there were times when I would get a “look” from the pulpit and knew it would be trouble when I got home. There are some things that I managed to keep secret from them though.

Even though it was a secret from them it wasn’t a secret from God. He sees all. Even our “secret” sins are never a secret to Him. What’s amazing though is even though he knows our every secret and knows our sin; He still loves us unconditionally. What we try to keep secret He often exposes out of that great love for us.  By exposing our sin it gives us the opportunity to let that broken area of our lives be healed and for us to be restored.

God loves you too much to let you stay in your sin unchallenged.  If there is anything in your life that you know is less than pleasing to Him let Him in to that area today so that you can be set free.
