Isaiah 8:1-9:21
2 Corinthians 12:1-10
Psalm 55:1-23
Proverbs 23:4-5

Verse of the Day:

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Have you ever taken a ride on a roller coaster and thought at the last second before it hit that crest. “Oh I shouldn’t have done this? What was I thinking?” Or have you climbed to the top of a ladder and thought to yourself, “How am I going to get down?”

See in this chapter, God is speaking to Paul and shows him that in his weakness, he is also strong. He has the sufficiency of Christ. As long as your foundation is built on the sufficiency of Christ, and not self-sufficiency, in all obstacles you will be made whole. Perhaps your life currently feels like the car on a roller coaster ride, barely staying on track through the rigorous turns, twists and even the cork screw. Know when you are in the sufficiency of Christ, His grace will carry you through the end of the ride.

Sometimes Gods way of bringing us to the end of the ride isn’t the way we want. This is because we are not to live in self-sufficiency. Riding the Jesus track provides us a testimony of how the grace and power in Christ is true.
