Releasing And Giving It To God

Verse of the day:
O my son, give me your heart. May your eyes take delight in following my ways. (Proverbs 23:26)
The Lord wants us to give Him our heart as the one we love, worship and obey—above all others. The heart is the seat of worship, commitment and affection. Whoever we give our heart to, determines our primary allegiance. For what we treasure, we hold deep in our heart.
But God is not looking for just a place in your heart, He wants all of your heart—He’s looking for wholehearted Christians. But what are the characteristics that give evidence of being a wholehearted Christian?
Do you meet Him in prayer on a daily basis? Do you saturate your mind with His Word.? Do you reflect His faithfulness in the way you live and present Him to others? These are just a few ideas to get you thinking of what it means to be a “wholehearted Christian.”
And as wholehearted believers we are to show honor to our Heavenly Father. The biblical word for honor means "to give great weight to; to hold as valuable." That is one of challenges that Proverbs 23 extends to us.
