Psalm 67:1-7
Proverbs 11:27

Verse of the Day:

You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth,  even those who sail on distant seas. (Psalm 65:5 NLT)

Challenges in your life may feel overwhelming today.  It may seem like there is no healthy resolution, the obstacles are too great, restoration is impossible, or what’s been done can never be forgiven.

As you pray, remember who’s listening.

In Psalm 65, David reflects upon his Heavenly Father, “You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds" (v. 5).

God has capability beyond measure or comparison.

The One who hears your prayer forms mountains (v. 6), quiets the raging seas (v. 7), determines “where the sun rises and where it sets (v. 8), and brings rain for the harvest (v. 9).  The One who hears your prayer has the power to forgive your sins (v. 3).

Those are awesome deeds.  The One who can do all of that is the same God who is seated on the throne when you bring yourself to Him in prayer.

Call upon your Heavenly Father with a confidence that the One who moves mountains has the full capacity to powerfully move in whatever situation you are facing.
