Proverbs 3:21-26

Verse of the day:

And his name will be the hope of all the world. (Matthew 12:21)

Have you ever felt like hope is hard to find? Have you ever felt like there is no hope?

So many people have lost all hope. Optimism has been replaced by discouragement and hopelessness. Some have lost hope because their life didn’t turn out the way they hoped it would. Others have had to struggle with chronic illnesses, with conflicts within their families, or with financial woes. Whether we like it or not, we live surrounded by hopelessness.

Yet, this is not how God wants you to live. Allow me to remind you that there is hope. I’m not talking about the kind of hope that is more like a wish. It’s not the “I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.” I’m talking about a real hope that will improve the way you live your everyday life. The only way you’ll find this hope is if you learn to trust that Jesus is powerful and that He has control of your future.

You see, Jesus wants you to give Him your everyday life disappointments and He will give you hope. He is the only complete and permanent solution for hopelessness. You can be optimistic about the future because Jesus is the source of your hope. Today, choose to embrace Jesus and His promises by faith. If you do, you’ll have a confident and courageous optimism that is rooted in the certainty of who He is.
