One Year Bible Reading Guide:

2 Kings 17:1-18:12
Acts 20:1-38
Psalm 148:1-14
Proverbs 18:6-7

Verse of the day:

I declare today that I have been faithful. If anyone suffers eternal death, it’s not my fault, for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know. (Acts 20:26-27 NLT)

Paul’s words to the leaders of the church in Ephesus pack a serious punch. In a simplified form, he tells the people, “Look, I’ve done and said everything I’m supposed to to you guys. If you end up going to Hell, it’s not my fault. It’s on you!”

Do you have the confidence to say that to the people in your life? Today at work, with family, or with your neighbors could you confidently say, “I’ve done everything I can to keep you from going to Hell. If you suffer eternal death, it’s your own fault!” While every person has the privilege of free will, will the people in your life be going to Hell because they have refused the truth, or because they didn’t know the truth?

Today’s challenge is to make your faith evident to those around you. Don’t hold back from fear, but boldly declare the truth. If people end up in Hell, don’t let it be on you.
