Reaching our world for Christ as we lead individuals to discover
and become who God has created them to be!

Our church’s story began in 1933 with the vision of Joseph Wannemacher to see a vibrant growing church in every community of Milwaukee. He sent a young upstart minister from his own congregation to South Milwaukee to begin this work. The church called themselves the South Milwaukee Gospel Tabernacle and joined the fellowship of  the Assemblies of God.

With much prayer, work, and sacrifice, the church began to grow in numbers. God opened the door in 1967 for the church to move to the city of Oak Creek and build their own building. Many in the congregation volunteered to build this new church with their own hands. With the new location came a new name: Oak Creek Assembly of God.

In May of 1979, Jerry Brooks accepted the call to become the Senior Pastor of Oak Creek Assembly of God.

The church outgrew the original building and has gone through several building expansions through the years with the latest addition

being completed in 2011.

Many have found Christ and have experienced life change from the ministry that has taken place through Oak Creek Assembly of God. Through the years, the church has been able to minister to the community with outreaches and special productions. It has also been used to share the Gospel with people globally through expansive missions efforts.

We are excited as we look toward the future knowing that with God, the best is yet to come!
