Middle & High School  //  Grades 6-12

Shift Student Ministry is our group for teenagers to build strong relationships with God, adult leaders, and other teens.

Each Wednesday, Shift meets in the Youth Center complete with a Game Room and Café, making it an ideal place for teens to hang out and make friends. Service begins at 7PM in the Youth Chapel with student-led worship, a message crafted to challenge teens to live a godly life, and opportunities to pray about what God is speaking to them. With fun events and adult leaders who are eager to invest into teen's lives, Shift is a place where any teenager can feel comfortable and safe.

What To Expect --

Each week Middle School students, grades 6th - 8th, and High School students, grades 9th - 12th, will gather together in our youth chapel for a time of praise and worship. After a time of worship and announcements we will dismiss the Middle School students to have their own bible study in the E-classrooms, located just down the hall from our youth chapel. This bible study will be the same material we cover with the High School Students but will be done on an age appropriate level for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. They will also enjoy a time of games and small group interaction each week.

Shift Game Room and Café open each Wednesday night 6:15-6:50PM and after Service until 9PM.

Winter Retreat

February // An exclusive event for Shift students, Winter Retreat is designed for intense discipleship, prayer, and a whole lot of fun at a campground about 1 hours away. Unlike Summer Camp and Youth Convention, Winter Retreat focuses on giving Shift students the chance to break into small groups and nurture their relationship with God and each other. Fun aspects of the weekend include sledding, a toboggan run, ice skating, broom ball hockey, and gym activities including basketball and volleyball.

July & August // Located on the shores of Spencer Lake outside of Waupaca, WI, hundreds of teens from Wisconsin and Northern Michigan gather for, "The best week of your life." During the day, teens can play team games (basketball, volleyball, and soccer to name a few), Frisbee golf, miniature golf, tube down a river, swim at the lake, and so much more. At night, all the teens gather for a powerful service filled with worship and teaching from some of the nation's best communicators to youth. Many teens say these are some of the most significant services in their lives. Shift attends Summer Camp two different weeks, one for High School students and one for Middle School students.

High School Camp // Junior High Camp

Fall Youth Convention // October 25-27

This is a high-energy weekend jam-packed with teens from all across Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. Students gather for four powerful services filled with worship, concerts, powerful challenges, and a dynamic speaker. Unlike our Summer Camp and Winter Retreat, the overnight accommodations for Youth Convention are in an area hotel. Cost is $180 before Sept. 30th and $195 up to the event.

C.R.E.W. Student Leadership

 Student Leaders

C.R.E.W. Student Leadership is a discipling program that we have to connect the students to the gospel and to one another. With opportunities to serve as a greeter within our Extend Team, get involved in our Care Team as a prayer leader or be a part of the worship team in the Creative Arts dept. We have many other area’s to serve and get involved. There is the Youth Café, sound tech area or tackle service projects. Student Leaders get the opportunity to impact the lives of teens around them. Making the move to become a C.R.E.W. Leader is as simple as filling out an application and connecting with the Student Leader Coordinator, Veronica Rodriguez.
